Jill Kennedy

Jill Kennedy brings extensive experience in a varied private practice representing individuals, businesses, nonprofits and healthcare organizations and as a public lawyer with city, county, state and federal agencies. Before joining the firm, Jill also served as general counsel and program manager for Medicaid healthcare organizations covering more than 100,000 lives, and as Deputy County Attorney and risk manager for Maricopa County.

Her practical and responsive approach, combined with her legal knowledge and years of experience, produce successful outcomes. She is able to assist her clients to advance their business goals, including small and large organizations, start-up businesses and individual entrepreneurs, who rely on her as respected business lawyer and adviser.

Jill began her professional career in Washington, D.C., working with the Urban Institute, National Journal, and National League of Cities. She was named Distinguished Public Lawyer of the year by the State Bar of Arizona (2003), and has been recognized as Civil Attorney of the Year by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. She received numerous commendations, special recognitions and performance awards during her 10-year tenure as Town Attorney for Paradise Valley, Arizona, and Assistant City Attorney for the cities of Tempe, Arizona, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A graduate of George Washington University Law School, she received her undergraduate degree from American University in Washington D.C., and her Master’s Degree in Information and Library Sciences from the University of Maryland. She is licensed in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and District of Columbia.
