Mark Buchanan

Mark Buchanan joined the ASU Law Group in September 2018, after graduating from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

During law school, Mark externed for Justice Clint Bolick at the Arizona Supreme Court and for the ASU Office of General Counsel. He was active in moot court participating in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition and the Spritzer Appellate Advocacy Competition. Additionally, Mark helped start-ups navigate business formation at ASU’s Innovation Advancement Legal Clinic, guided new and prospective students as an ASU Law Student Ambassador and spent his 2L summer studying abroad in Antigua, Guatemala.

Prior to law school, Mark received a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Barrett the Honors College at ASU. He went on to a Master’s of Secondary Education from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College also at ASU and taught history at the BASIS Charters schools in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
